Franklin Square offers many fun community events and activities throughout the year.

Fun is what we all about. Throughout our season, we have random acts of wacktivity to delight young and old.

Balloons, Bubbles and Broo-Ha-Ha

Balloon artists or bubblemakers, you never

know who will be strolling through the square to have some fun.

Visit our storytelling bench and discover some of the history of

the square and its legacy.

MAKE N TAKE ACTIVITES

Our Make N Take activities are a signature of Franklin Square’s commitment to community involvement. These activities allow children, with the support and encouragement of their parents, to do a craft activity. Most activities are centered around a holiday or seasonal theme. ALL Make N Take activities are FREE, and your generous support is always welcome.

October Dusk	It’s getting spooky round here… Philly Mini golf transforms itself into SPOOKY MINI GOLF, gloomy lighting, fog, and music turn our the course into a fun holiday activity. (same price as Philly Mini Golf) Franklin Square participates in the Light For the Cure campaign for Breast Cancer Awareness
October 11, 18, 25	Hop aboard the Lightning Bolt Express train! Why walk around the Square when you can take the train? (ticket required)
October 25	Trick or Treat Trail Trick or Treat in the safety of the Square
November 28	The Holidays begin at Franklin Square! Santa Claus arrives via firetruck and Our Trio of Singers perform holiday favorites to get you in the spirit of the season. Park will be lit with thousands of white lights to showcase the natural beauty of the park.
December 20	Hop aboard the Lightning Bolt Express train! Santa may even ride with you (ticket required) Holiday Caroling – Our Trio of Singers perform holiday favorites to get you in the spirit of the season. Sing along with them – a great family activity
