Once Upon A Nation's Story Stroll
Patriots, Pirates, Heroes & Spies! On this one hour adventure, your group will be escorted through Historic Philadelphia around Independence Hall by one of our dynamic Once Upon A Nation Storytellers. Along the way, you will not only hear about the buildings and sights around you, you will be entertained with true stories from history that even most adults have never heard! Students will have the opportunity to become part of the story in the very spots where they occurred.
Once Upon A Nation's Cobwebs & Cobblestones Story Stroll
Ghosts, Bloodletting, Hunchbacks and Broomsticks! These are the macabre subjects of the true and strange stories we tell at historic sites such as the Free Quaker Meeting House, Christ Church Burial Ground, Arch Street Meeting House, and the Betsy Ross House. Walk with us as we stroll Philadelphia to uncover...what’s under the cobblestones. End your tour at historic Christ Church where a figure from the past steps out of the shadows and tells you why Philadelphia was a dangerous place to be in 1793.m
Group Fun at Franklin Square
Discover an outdoor amusement oasis perfect for groups and just steps away from the Betsy Ross House, the Liberty Bell, and Lights of Liberty! Franklin Square offers the Philadelphia Park Liberty Carousel, a Philadelphia-themed miniature golf course, and more! Putt through the Liberty Bell or up the ‘Rocky steps’ in Philly Mini Golf, an 18-hole miniature golf course featuring Philadelphia icons. Take a spin on the Philadelphia Park Liberty Carousel, featuring Philadelphia-favorite race horses like Smarty Jones and Afleet Alex, a bald eagle, among others. Freedom. Patriotism. Independence! Take an inspirational 3D journey through American symbols in this state-of-the-art show. Join virtual Ben Franklin and learn about the Liberty Bell, the American flag, the Great Seal, and more in the 360° PECO Theater that surrounds the audience. This 15-minute long experience is located inside the Historic Philadelphia Center, on 6th & Chestnut Streets just across from the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall.
Once Upon A Nation's History Walk
This is no ordinary walking tour! A Once Upon A Nation History Maker, straight from the 18th-century takes your group back in time to learn about the goings-on during this tumultuous time in our new country. This interactive experience is fully customizable - theme and length of the experience is up to you!
Once Upon A Nation's A Soldiers' Life
Join a Revolutionary-Era Soldier as he discusses the daily lifestyle of a typical infantryman in the American Continental Army during the American Revolution. Students will have the opportunity to be fitted up with equipment and gear along with the proper training of the day. Highly energized and interactive, this program is perfect for Middle School and High School Students. Ask about our new Civil War Soldier’s Life program!

Whether it's for a school assembly, a group visit to Philadelphia, or for a private function, the Once Upon A Nation cast of characters can help! from Ben Franklin and Thomas Jefferson to Betsy Ross and lesser-known people from history, Once Upon A Nation's History Makers bring history to life through interacting and discussing their lives with your group.
Betsy Ross House
Take your group to see the birthplace of the American flag! Meet Betsy and learn about her story in the place where it all happened. Flat fees for motor coaches available.
